Interview with Mullet Mike of TheStickyPaddle

Hello, everybody! Today I come to you with a different post.. an interview! That's right, as you can tell from the title, I have interviewed the man, the myth, the legend.. wait for it.. Mullet Mike from TheStickyPaddle! Creator of the well-known series "CREEPY GAMING" and "CREEPY WORLD"! This is an interview that Mullet Mike gladly accepted to, and I have totally grateful for the opportunity to talk to him. Links for channels are located at the end of the interview. Now, without further ado, let's get right into it!

Q: Before we start, how about you introduce yourself and will you please inform anyone who isn't familiar with you or your content just exactly who you are and what you do?

A: First off, I'd like to thank you for even wanting to interview me. It's very flattering and I appreciate the opportunity. My name is Mike Hardcastle, but I'm probably better known as MulletMike. I am a professional YouTube Personality for two major YouTube channels, TheStickyPaddle Gaming Network, and my backup channel, xMulletMiKEx. I host several shows, but I'm probably best known for my series, CREEPY GAMING.

Q: Now, I've got to say, it's truly an honor! Thank you for accepting this interview request! But let's cut to the chase, what made you start a YouTube channel?

A: The honor and pleasure, is all mine. Our channel, TheStickyPaddle, began back in 2011, We were just a group of friends who played A LOT of Call of Duty at the time and we just wanted to show off a few of our clips. Overtime, I began to find a genuine love for producing and editing. It was a year later, CREEPY GAMING was born, and the rest is history. I can't speak for other TSP members, but my biggest inspiration to get into YouTube in the first place was probably James Rolfe of Cinemassacre, I guess he showed me that I don't have to do what other "YouTubers" do, but rather, march to the beat of my own drum.

Q: What made you start the now well-known and beloved series known as "CREEPY GAMING"?

A:Ha! I've always been a little twisted, and by that I just mean I have a morbid fascination with the strange or macabre. Don't worry, I'm harmless, I just have always liked scary movies and urban legends and such. When I started hearing about all these strange sotires and easter eggs from (another love of my life) video games, I said to myself that this just makes sense. I mean, there were so many from so many different games. I had found my gimmick, my niche'. It just kind of clicked.

Q: What is the first video game that you ever played? What is your all-time favorite video game?

A: The first video game I ever played was Donkey Kong Classics for the original NES. I will never forget that! I couldn't have been 3, maybe 4 years old, and walking into my buddy's room and seen that he got an NES and a few new games, DKC was one of those games. I had taken my first step into a larger world...

As far as favorite game goes? That's a tough one. It's hard for me to pick a favorite "anything". If I had to choose one, probably something from the GTA series.

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of YouTube and Gaming?

A: Several! I have a wife and a couple of kids, so I'm a big "family man" I like to take my family out, take my kids to new places and such. So we like to travel. I am also a musician, writer, I sketch, paint (on rare occasions) and I love movies.

Q: You have two kids now! How does it feel like being a father? What is the most important thing you've learned from fatherhood? And what is a word of advice for people looking to start a family or barely starting one?

A: Through out all that I've been through, I can honestly say that my children are my greatest accomplishment. I have never been more proud of anyone or anything in my life, than my kids. I love being a father, it's great! The most important things I've learned as a dad would be "unconditional love & respect." Being a father myself, I now have a better relationship with my dad now. It's just great, all around! As far as advice goes... just try your best to "have all your ducks in a row." You can never be fully prepared, but the more prepped you are, the smoother the transition will be.

Q: In one of your old videos you said that your background is music, were you in a band? And now that we're in a topic of music, what music are you into?

A: Well, yes and no. Sorry, I'm afraid it's one of the kinds of answers... I more or less use to work for a band, Monoxide Project. I was one of the lead song writers. They heard my music, and wanted to help make it their own. Great guys, I owe a lot to them.

As far as to what kind of music I like, well I'm afraid I'm going to have to give you a somewhat generic answer... I liked all kinds of music. I know a lot of people say that, but I really mean it. One minute I may be listen to opera, the next minute I may be listening to hip hop. I've always been that way. If I had to choose, I'd say I listen to classic rock more than anything else. I'm a big "Beatles" fan.

Q: Here is a deep one: After all of the exposure to creepiness of CREEPY GAMING/WORLD, do you believe in the supernatural? (Ghosts, Demons, Afterlife, etc)?

A: Oh wow, enough softball questions, huh? We're down to the heavy stuff now. Here is my response to you: "Who am I? Who am I to say there is? Who am I to say there isn't? For I am nothing, compared to the greater power out there. I am but an ant amongst beasts..." I have definitely seen some strange and miraculous things in my life. Things I dare not even being to explain. It was enough to make me believe though, So while I might dismiss quite a bit, I must say that I am a believer.

Q: That's deep. Haha. Thank you so much for allowing me to interview you! It was a very fun experience and hope to catch up with you again! Anything you would like to close with?

A: I just want to thank you for this opportunity, and at the risk of sounding really cheesy, CHASE YOUR DREAMS! Don't let anyone or anything tell you that you can't! Don't let anyone get in your way. MOVE FORWARD.

Q: Finally, Titty Sprinkles?

A: Yes, of course. Always.

Q: Anything you want to leave the Creepy Community with?

A: Well wishes & tittysprinkles to all! Thank to everyone who has supported me. It really does mean more to me than you know. PLENTY MORE ON THE WAY AN JUST SEE WHAT WE DO NEXT! PEACE!
